Our mission is to preserve and elevate Black culture while creating safe, intimate, and joyful spaces for people to connect.

AG_CassetteCase.png

Audio Gumbo was created to honor the richness of Black music, culture, and community. What began in 2012 as a digital space spotlighting underground soul, funk, jazz, and hip-hop artists has grown into a full-fledged event production company curating immersive cultural experiences.

Today, Audio Gumbo is known for curating unforgettable experiences that center Black joy, intimacy, and connection. Signature productions like Slow Drag, The Jheri Curl, and Cinema & Jukebox reflect Audio Gumbo’s commitment to preserving and reimagining the legacy of Black music. Whether on the dance floor or in a quiet moment of connection, Audio Gumbo events are designed to move people—physically, emotionally, and culturally.

Backed by a deep appreciation for storytelling, the power of Black-owned spaces, and the belief that music can heal, Audio Gumbo isn’t just an event brand—it’s a vibe. A home. A movement.
