Overview
Support the planning and expansion of Slow Drag into new cities by identifying appropriate venues, managing relationships with venue operators, and supporting event production and promotion remotely or on-site.
Key Responsibilities
The Tour Coordinator will support the planning and execution of events in multiple cities.
Responsibilities may include:
Venue Research & Scouting:
Identify and summarize suitable venues (3–5 per city)
Conduct site visits if local
Initiate venue contact and manage introductory communications
Pre-Production Support:
Assist with booking venues
Recommend and coordinate with local vendors (DJs, AV teams, rental services)
Provide local promotional assistance, such as flyer distribution and influencer outreach
Event Execution & Wrap-Up:
On-site coordination, including vendor management, setup oversight, and attendee check-in
Post-event reporting with observations and recommendations for future improvement
Travel Coordination (when applicable):
Availability for travel with covered or reimbursed expenses (including optional per diem)
Qualifications
Expected Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication
Basic familiarity with event production and hospitality
Reliable, organized, and proactive
Compensation
Compensation ranges from $250 to $800 per city, based on responsibilities assumed, responsiveness, organization, local coordination requirements, and travel commitments.
